Rumours circulating around the music industry, press and celebrity worlds are adding fuel to an Oasis reunion fire that was ignited a while ago when a fresh attack on his brother from Liam Gallagher sent social media into a spin.
The iconic brit pop / rock band split back in 2009 after taking a young rebellious music scene by storm, going on to land 22 consecutive UK top 10 hits and 8 UK number 1 places between 1994 and 2008. To this date the band have sold over 70 Million albums.
In a recent interview with Talk Sport, Noel Gallagher played down the reunion rumours, saying that brother Liam was a coward and being ‘disingenuous’ by offering their fans false hope of a return to stage.
Noel then invited brother Liam to call him up about an Oasis reunion, or get his people to call his people and see where it leads.
Here’s hoping this riff can be mended for long enough to develop this plan into the full blown return that millions of fans have been crying out for.
